Celebrate Valentine's Day as only the PEANUTS gang can, complete with love notes, chocolates, and lots of laughs in:

"A CHARLIE BROWN VALENTINE"

Debuting On DVD and VHS on January 6

Hollywood, CA October 28, 2003 -- Paramount Home Entertainment delivers the first new PEANUTS classic in 25 years -- A CHARLIE BROWN VALENTINE -- to home video on January 6. In A CHARLIE BROWN VALENTINE, which first aired on ABC in February, 2002, Charlie Brown has a crush on the little red-haired girl whom he hopes will be his valentine, but who probably doesn't even know that he exists. The DVD includes two bonus episodes from a Snoopy Double Feature previously released on VHS, "There's No Time for Love, Charlie Brown" and "Someday You'll Find Her, Charlie Brown." Order cut-off is November 25.

In A CHARLIE BROWN VALENTINE, Valentine's Day is a week away and Charlie Brown hopes to get a Valentine from the little red-haired girl, as does Sally from Linus…Lucy from Schroeder... and Peppermint Patty from Charlie Brown. The usual heartbreak with all these relationships comes to a head on Valentine's Day, ending with the ill-fated Valentine's Dance, where Charlie Brown hopes to dance with the little red-haired girl, but with his luck, will probably end up dancing with Snoopy! In the DVD bonus episodes, "There's No Time For Love, Charlie Brown," Peppermint Patty has a major crush on wishy-washy Chuck. Yet, how can there be time for romance when class work turns school days into a daze for the PEANUTS kids? A field trip doesn't make things easier when Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Peppermint Patty and others mistake a supermarket for the art museum! In "Someday You'll Find Her, Charlie Brown," Charlie Brown's luck is at it again. If it weren't for bad luck, good ole Charlie Brown wouldn't have any luck at all! Determined to meet the girl he saw in the stands while watching a television football game, he and Linus set out to find her. Is she the girl of Charlie Brown's dreams? Not when she falls for Linus instead!! Chin up, Charlie Brown.

The DVD of A CHARLIE BROWN VALENTINE is presented in full screen format and features Dolby Digital English Stereo. The VHS of A CHARLIE BROWN VALENTINE has a run time of 25 minutes, while the DVD is 74 minutes long. The DVD is closed-captioned and sub-titled in English for the hearing-impaired and is encoded with the Macrovision™ AntiCopy process.
